I’ve been practicing inking, cos I’m gonna start inking, and it’s good to practice things before you start.

I’m practicing different styles to get comfortable with deeferent techniques.

In the spirit of Amanda Conner, who rules my universe, and upon whom I may have a potent artcrush. The leftmost is a direct attempt at a panel from Power Girl #4.

The rightmost is PG inquiring what happened to the leather thing that keeps her shoulder-cape on, as a certain person seems to have forgotten to draw it.

This is Dr. Betty in the style of penciler Bong Dazo and inker Jose Pimentel.

Observe the different and more time-suckful approach to drawing hair.

Then I pulled out some “Blackest Night,” came to terms with my fear of large regions of black on faces, and drew a very high-key zombie.
