I know not. Also, my primary association for N. Carbonell is ‘Just Shoot Me.’ -5 cool for me.

The referee needs to weigh in here. Do you get -5 for remembering that he was on “Just Shoot Me,” or do you get -5 for *thinking* that he was on “Just Shoot Me” when he actually wasn’t? Because if you’re confusing Nestor Carbonell and Enrico Colantoni then we may have to bump it up to -6 or -7, depending on whether this is a case of “great character actors I confuse” or “all those Mexicans look alike to me.”

Yes, I know that Colantoni is Canadian. That was just a cheap attempt at humor about all furriners looking alike. You still win, though, because I knew Carbonell was on “Suddenly Susan” without having to resort to the power of Google. It’s similar to my inability to keep Kathy Griffin and Vicki Lewis sorted between “Suddenly Susan” and “NewsRadio.” You’d think I could get it straight by now…

I also had a heinous problem with the wacky redheads distinction. Then I saw Vicki Lewis’ midriff one ep and her identity was sealed in my memory, so that “NewsRadio” became that show with that redhead with THE THIRTEEN INCH WAIST.

“Suddenly Susan” continued to be THAT TERRIBLE SITCOM WITH THE FEMALE NAME IN THE TITLE. No, not “Veronica’s Closet.” No, not “Just Jesse” or wotever that thing with Christina Applegate and other actors who were way too good for it. The other one. The one with the tasty Latin guy. No, not the tasty Italian guy. No, not that tasty Latin guy. The one with the eyebrows. Yeah, that one!

Gawd, that was a dark time for TV.
