Incredibly Random Thoughts
Posted by Tory, April 26, 2008 on 2:23 am | In Amusements | No CommentsJohn McCain has a 95-year-old mama and a 24-year-old daughter. While I am still voting for Obama, I am no longer in a position to complain that McCain is too old.
This election, like pretty much all presidential elections, is the Democrats to lose.
Anyhoo.

Monsters Inc. is a fantastic freakin’ movie — and three out of three for making me cry. Jeepus. Of course, I have a furious soft spot for John “Dan Conner” Goodman — his own archetype, so lovable I named a robot after him. Remember that episode where Dan punches the guy to defend Roseanne’s honor? That was formative, formative stuff in my tween years.
A quick missive:
Dear John Goodman,
I am advising you that you are not allowed to die. Aside from being full of furious talent and a voice that makes me want to turn into a small calico cat fireside in December (I have no idea what I mean by this), it is your job to live a long and healthy life so that I can take my future baby squirts to a new movie with you in it. You are our Phil Harris. You make happy easy.
Please get on that immeds, kthx.
Love,
Your loyal fan,
Tory
P.S. Phil Harris lived to be 91.

Lucy and Bart
Posted by Tory, April 23, 2008 on 10:51 pm | In Amusements | No CommentsDo you ever look in the mirror and mash your face with your fingers to see how much you can mush before you look freaky? Do you like cutting off circulation to your fingers with rubber bands? Do you enjoy things that at first seem disturbing, then turn into awesome?
No? Well… that’s probably a good thing.
Yes? You might like Lucy and Bart, your average pair of performance-architecture-fashion artists. STAND BY FOR AWESOME.
