Ladybug Condo

For ‘Waking Darkness’ — the fourth-year film I’m designing — the producer ordered ladybugs. Did you know you can get 1500 ladybugs in the mail for, like, six bucks? I sure didn’t.

We were setting free the bugs, John-Irving-style, and produced the following photos. I thought they turned out kinda lovely, But digital camera trial-and-error-facilitating plus magic hour leaves little opportunity for error.
