I should point out that staggerlee’s fantasmic Christmas rant belongs to staggerlee. Despite my keen desire to attribute her artful, mellifluous Wal-Mart kick in the nuts to myself, I cannot take credit for it.

I also can’t follow that act. But I will try, with an insane lighter.

My dad got this as a gift from his brother, and handed it off to me in pure bafflement. As my brother-in-law points out, you really need an mpeg to do this thing justice because 1) when you flip the top, the bombs flash red and the impact flashes blue, and 2) the flame itself burns bright green.

The sticker on the side says “Made in Viet Nam,” which increases the irony or poignancy factor depending on how you interpret “Anxiety Peace We.”

Any explanation is greatly desired.
