Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball

Remember that time I was obsessed with Dead or Alive: XTreme Beach Volleyball? Those were good times. And as I toted my X-Box back from Winston-Salem, which functions for me as a real expensive DVD player since I have no games for it, I began to reflect on the game that stole many happy hours of my life.


A chick ain’t dumb just `cuz she got a big rack. IKU-YO!

Did I really talk junk to my animated partner when she flubbed a spike? Do I really remember off the top of my head that Helena likes blanc manges, and Ayane’s birthstone is peridot? Did I really invest at least an hour of digging to find that weak-ass cheat where you can use a sun visor to see the characters nekkid — kind of?


Between that and all the hentai, Hitomi can never face her parents again.

Yes. Yes I did. And since the X-Box that has the freakish number of suits, hats and glasses stored on it was never mine to keep, I am prepared to do it all over again. I got a nice used copy on the cheap from eBay. If this works out, I may go nuts on some more. Fable? Thief 3? What do y`all recommend for a gamer who’s not into learning curves or blowing stuff up?

  3. I loik games like Othello — minute to learn, lifetime to master, like DOA:XVB. I got a real small attention span. Also stuff with more thinking than fighting, like Thief. Oh yeah.

  5. as I have said before, Katamari Damacy…not sure if they have it for XBox or not, but if they do, you so totally need it. I am also obsessed with Monster Rancher 3 (and 4, once I get it)…
