The hurricanes were a clue, but it wasn`t until California got hit by a massive quake ("massive" being judged by the volume of the "Holy GOD!" I got out of my best friend when I told him -- he`s from California) that I knew God was on Bush`s side. Damn God. Givin` the Republican governors all the good photo-ops... Who needs ya anyway?

I sense something is afoot. I wouldn`t put anything past these guys. How else do you run up those multi-billion-dollar deficits? Poker tournaments?

It`s also interesting to note that a major contributer to Gov. Jeb Bush`s campaign is a company that makes plywood. What do people put all over their houses when a hurricane comes? Plywood! More hurricanes = better plywood sales = more money for Bush. Hmm. . .

For a while, the only thing I respected about Bush was that he stayed in shape. I got a little put out when people criticized him for being on the treadmill when this or that important thing went down. (Please! He was on the treadmil in the White House -- not backpacking in Timbuktu! Are you honestly telling me his staff can`t find the room with the treadmill in it??) Now, though... Now I wish he`d stop with the fitness thing, because I`ve so had it with him that I RESENT that there`s still one thing that I have to respect him for...

You are the second person in the last 24 hours in my life to show me those maps from Weather Underground and talk about the slight chance of blaming the hurricanes on George Bush. This is weird.
