Michael Crawford`s fan base

A guy I know named Michael Crawford gets a lot of email for the singing Michael Crawford. Much of it is strange, but this one is superlative.

Hello Mr. Crawford,

Just got in the door from NY where I saw your show. I knew nothing about you before today. Now I am mesmerized. You are simply “The Best.” Descriptive words and phrases cannot and do not come close to “the real you.” I am SO sad that I did not get to see you in “Phantom.”

Should you ever have time off and desire to get away from the annoying crowds and publicity of the city, I would love to have you visit my quiet town in PA–2 hrs away. Perhaps we could go for a quiet relaxing walk in the rustic park (few people walk there) and then have a simple dinner at home. I would tell no one of your visit and I promise not to annoy you with an endless barrage of questions or idle chatter. You have my word as a Christian.
